Today’s Prayer ~ Jeremiah 23:16

Posted by Deborah on November 6, 2010

This is what the LORD Almighty says:  “Do not listen to what the prophets are prophesying to you; they fill you with false hopes. They speak visions from their own minds, not from the mouth of the LORD.  Jeremiah 23:16 (NIV)

YAHWEH,

I praise and reverence YOUR HOLY NAME. Thank YOU for this day, for the prayers YOU have placed on my heart, for the peace YOU have given me. YOU are HOLY LORD. There is none like YOU. Where ever we go, YOU are with us. Our hope is in YOU.

LORD we praise YOU for the grace and mercy on our lives. Protect us from the snare of false prophets. May we discern truth from error, testing every spirit. Hallelujah! Let us study YOUR Word that YOU may teach us YOUR truth so we may gain the true knowledge of YOUR SON, our KING and SAVIOR JESUS CHRIST.

I plead the blood over mankind, praying that no false prophecy will enter our minds and hearts. As we put on the full armor of GOD, I pray we guard our hearts above all things. Destroy every false prophet from within our midst, speaking visions from their own minds and not from YOUR mouth, LORD. These false prophets poison the atmosphere with their lies and slander, filling the proud and stubborn, the weak and lost, with false hopes. Crush them, LORD! May they cringe in YOUR presence and flee at the name of JESUS! YOU are almighty and worthy of all praise! HOLY SPIRIT, have YOUR way!

I thank YOU and bless YOU, even in the matchless name of JESUS the CHRIST I pray, Amen.

Today’s Prayer ~ Matthew 10:12-15

Posted by Deborah on October 19, 2010

“When you knock on a door, be courteous in your greeting. If they welcome you, be gentle in your conversation. If they don’t welcome you, quietly withdraw. Don’t make a scene. Shrug your shoulders and be on your way. You can be sure that on Judgment Day they’ll be mighty sorry—but it’s no concern of yours now.”  Matthew 10:12-15 (The Message)

HEAVENLY FATHER,

I praise YOU, as YOU are HOLY and MIGHTY in all YOUR ways. Glory be to the CREATOR of the heavens and the earth, who is and was and is to come! There is none like YOU! LORD GOD, I confess my sins, and the sins of the saints, asking YOU to forgive us of our iniquity. LORD, we repent. Thank YOU for forgiving us.

LOVING GOD, YOU know our hearts. YOU know everything about us. There is no where we can go, where YOU are not there. I glorify YOU for the wisdom YOU have given us as we go out to preach the good news of the Kingdom. Our desire is to serve YOU, LORD — not mother, nor father – not son or daughter — preacher or saint — brother or sister. Thank YOU for YOUR wisdom and precepts. I was once taught that all relationships have to be tried and tested. This is sometimes painful, as we want to bear much fruit for YOU. However, much fruit cannot be produced if we are not obedient. We must be courtesous in our greeting, then wait for a response. If we are welcomed, then may our peace rest on the place of which we knock. If we are not welcomed, then let us not take it personal, but do as YOU commission, which is withdraw quietly, cause no scene, shrug our shoulders, and be on our way. Another version of YOUR Word tells us to shake the dust from our feet. We have no reason to grieve, as the concern is no longer ours, and these persons will be accountable on the Day of Judgment. This command is not our own, but YOURS JESUS, so we rest in YOUR perfect peace.

HOLY SPIRIT, give us the courage to speak boldly, that we may let no gossip proceed from our lips. Though we are sinful, we are declared righteous by THE FATHER. May the words of our mouth and the meditation of our heart be acceptable in thy sight, O LORD, my strength and my redeemder.

We bless YOU and glorify YOU, even in the matchless name of JESUS the CHRIST we pray, Amen.

Today’s Prayer ~ Isaiah 49:22-26

Posted by Deborah on June 12, 2010

The Master, God, says:

“Look! I signal to the nations, I raise my flag to summon the people. Here they’ll come: women carrying your little boys in their arms, men carrying your little girls on their shoulders. Kings will be your babysitters, princesses will be your nursemaids. They’ll offer to do all your drudge work—scrub your floors, do your laundry. You’ll know then that I am God. No one who hopes in me ever regrets it.” Can plunder be retrieved from a giant, prisoners of war gotten back from a tyrant? But God says, “Even if a giant grips the plunder and a tyrant holds my people prisoner, I’m the one who’s on your side, defending your cause, rescuing your children. And your enemies, crazed and desperate, will turn on themselves, killing each other in a frenzy of self-destruction. Then everyone will know that I, God, have saved you—I, the Mighty One of Jacob.” Isaiah 49:22-26 (The Message)

 Dear Saints:

Know that the Summer Prayer Walk of the labyrinth last Saturday was incredible! I pray to have pictures for you soon. The sisters’ testimonies were more than encouraging — it “messed us up!” LOL!! That’s a term we prayer warriors use when GOD shows up like a tsunami and does these amazing things to remind us HE’s still in control.

Well, talk about being messed up, I think I will let this Word mess you up. Hold on and don’t give up. Believe that HE takes us from strength to strength. I pray this Word washes over you like a gentle stream. Let’s pray.

 FATHER in HEAVEN,

How we adore YOU! YOU take us from strength to strength, giving us everything we need at the time we need it. YOU meet us at our every point of need. We trust YOU — our SAVIOR, who is what HE does — saves. We repent of our sins, JESUS, and ask YOUR forgiveness. Thank YOU for YOUR faithfulness.

YOU, my LORD, are the MIGHTY ONE who saves. No one compares. We are not the tail, but the head! We are not beneath, but above; not behind, but ahead; not borrowers, but lenders! We have lived a faithless life, forgive us. We shall walk by faith and not by sight! Our hope is in YOU, because we trust YOU.

Thank YOU for reminding us who YOU are, what YOU said, and the promises YOU have given. YOUR word does not come back void, for all things came into being through YOUR spoken word. FATHER, we just want to serve YOU and not disappoint YOU. We desire that all men be saved, through YOU, JESUS. Help us draw men unto YOU. Give us a heart of compassion, that we may live by YOUR blessed fruit of the Spirit: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. Against such things, there is no law.  Galatians 5:22-23 (NIV) Should our enemies come against us still, then, LORD, we know that YOU are our AVENGER! YOU are GOD alone! YOU are on our side! Hallelujah!

We thank YOU and praise YOU, even in the matchless name of JESUS the CHRIST we pray, Amen.

Today’s Prayer ~ John 14:1-3

Posted by Deborah on December 29, 2009

“Do not let your hearts be troubled. Trust in God; trust also in me. In my Father’s house are many rooms; if it were not so, I would have told you. I am going there to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me that you also may be where I am.”  John 14:1-3 (NIV)

O LORD,

How comforting are these words to our soul. Though we have walked in darkness, YOUR love has brought us into the Light of the saving grace of YOUR beloved SON, JESUS CHRIST. FATHER GOD, forgive us for our sins, for trusting in things that are not of YOU. Forgive us for doubting YOUR Sovereignty. We once were lost, but now we are found. We trust YOU GOD. We trust also in YOU, JESUS. We believe YOUR promises, LORD. We walk with YOU, trusting in YOU only. We shall not let our hearts be troubled, for we know that YOU are coming back for us. We await YOUR return when we shall see and behold YOUR glory, yes, even the place YOU have prepared for us. Where YOU are, is where we want to be. YOUR commandment says:

‘I am the LORD your God who brought you out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage. You shall have no other gods before Me. You shall not make for yourself a carved image—any likeness of anything that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth; you shall not bow down to them nor serve them. For I, the LORD your God, am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children to the third and fourth generations of those who hate Me, but showing mercy to thousands, to those who love Me and keep My commandments.’  Deuteronomy 5:6-10

HOLY SPIRIT, thank YOU for guiding us in the path of righteousness. Thank YOU for YOUR truth. YOUR truth is pure. There are three things that are eternal: Faith, Hope, and Love. But the greatest of these is Love.  1 Corinthians 13:13  We say yes to YOU LORD. Open our hearts to YOUR truth, YOUR Wisdom, YOUR Holiness, YOUR Power, YOUR Love. There is none like YOU. We glorify YOU. We worship YOU. We honor YOU. We adore YOU. We love YOU. Melt our hearts. Prick our hearts. Penetrate our hearts with YOUR loving Spirit and dwell in us.

We thank YOU and we praise YOU, even in the beloved name of our Friend and SAVIOR, JESUS CHRIST we pray, Amen.

Special Christmas Prayer ~ Luke 2:16-20

Posted by Deborah on December 24, 2009

So they hurried off and found Mary and Joseph, and the baby, who was lying in the manger. When they had seen him, they spread the word concerning what had been told them about this child, and all who heard it were amazed at what the shepherds said to them. But Mary treasured up all these things and pondered them in her heart. The shepherds returned, glorifying and praising God for all the things they had heard and seen, which were just as they had been told.  Luke 2:16-20 (NIV)

Dear Friends, Merry Christmas!

Let us be like Mary who treasured and pondered in her heart all that she heard concerning the birth of our LORD and SAVIOR, JESUS CHRIST. Let us pray:

FATHER GOD,

How good and pleasant it is to worship YOU, JESUS, our SAVIOR, and HOLY SPIRIT, our DIVINE COMFORTER! We thank and bless YOU, even now, JESUS, for willingly coming to save us. YOU made YOURSELF a little lower than the angels, that we may have the blessed gift of salvation with the hope of living eternally with YOU. This is a special time of year for us. Though we know YOU were not literally born on this day, December 25, we recognize that YOUR birth, death and resurrection is significant to the outcome of all mankind. Therefore, we ask that YOU accept our heartfelt gratitude for all YOUR sacrifices made on our behalf, yes, even the propitiatory sacrifice of dying on the cross for our sins. YOUR perfect, sinless life paid our debt, a price we could never repay. YOU were the perfect human sacrifice, yes, our second ADAM. So we humbly kneel before YOU, our KING, our REDEEMER, our PRINCE OF PEACE, our LORD and SAVIOR, our DIVINE COUSELOR, GOD OF TRUTH, MERCY, GRACE, JOY, PEACE, HOPE, FAITH, and LOVE, to worship YOU in Spirit and Truth. We honor and adore YOU as our KINSMEN REDEEMER! We glorify YOU for who YOU are. We reverence YOUR HOLINESS! Place YOUR divine fear in us, that we might obey YOU at all times, so it will be well with us. I pray for YOUR children and all mankind this day, O LORD, that we may see YOUR glory shining brightly all around us. I pray for peace and rest for each one here. May no worries creep into our thoughts, but may we nestle in YOUR HOLY BOSOM as YOUR beloved children, in awe of the MOST HIGH GOD! We love YOU. We thank YOU for forgiving our sins. We repent for any and all unforgiveness in our heart. Thank YOU LORD for YOUR unfailing mercy, grace and goodness on our lives. Protect our children. Comfort our elderly. Heal the sick. Feed and shelter the homeless. Seek the lost. Rescue those who have drifted. Bring them back to YOUR Divine Fold. This Word, O LORD, I leave for YOUR children, that we may know how much YOU love us:

We always thank God for all of you and pray for you constantly. As we pray to our God and Father about you, we think of your faithful work, your loving deeds, and the enduring hope you have because of our Lord Jesus Christ. We know, dear brothers and sisters, that God loves you and has chosen you to be his own people. For when we brought you the Good News, it was not only with words but also with power, for the Holy Spirit gave you full assurance that what we said was true. 1 Thessalonians 1:2-5(a)

Peace and blessings, my beloved brothers and sisters.

I pray this prayer, even in the matchless name of JESUS the CHRIST, Amen. Amen.

Today’s Prayer ~ Hebrews 1:1-2

Posted by Deborah on December 2, 2009

In the past God spoke to our forefathers through the prophets at many times and in various ways, but in these last days he has spoken to us by his Son, whom he appointed heir of all things, and through whom he made the universe.  Hebrews 1:1-2 (NIV)

LOVING FATHER,

We glorify YOU this day for which YOU have made, let us rejoice and be glad in it. YOU are Holy and majestic in all YOUR ways, LORD. Thank YOU for another day of life and for the purpose and plans for our lives. Forgive us our sins, as we forgive those who sinned against us. FATHER, YOU are LORD of all things. YOU have spoken to us in many ways. Even now, in these last days, YOU speak to us through YOUR SON, JESUS CHRIST, our REDEEMER. There is such peace knowing that YOU rule as our KING. YOU appointed JESUS heir of all things, and through whom HE made the universe. Yes, in the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with GOD and the Word was GOD. John 1:1  Hallelujah! LORD, YOU are good and all things good come from YOU. Thank YOU for appointing JESUS as our KING. We know that our HIGH PRIEST covers and protects us in every way. We submit our whole souls to YOU, JESUS. YOU comfort us even in these words. We have assurance that YOU live. YOU are divine. LORD, bless YOUR saints tonight. Speak to them through prayer and songs of praise. Open our ears that we may listen closely to YOUR divine wisdom. Melt our hearts, that we may sympathize with others. Give us patience to persevere. Thank YOU for giving us a free will. We offer it back to YOU to worship YOU. Thank YOU JESUS for everything. O LORD, there is none like YOU. Our peace is made perfect in YOU, our sleep sweeter, our prayers stronger, our thoughts clearer. Perfect our walk in YOU. Orchestrate obedience in even the slightest of thoughts. HOLY SPIRIT, fill this place. Help us trust YOU more as we keep our mind stayed on YOU.

I thank YOU and I praise YOU, even in the matchless name of JESUS the CHRIST I pray, Amen.

Today’s Prayer ~ Psalm 100:3

Posted by Deborah on November 24, 2009

Know that the LORD, He is God; it is He who has made us, and not we ourselves; we are His people and the sheep of His pasture. Psalm 100:3 (NKJV)

GLORIOUS FATHER,

We come before YOU in holy reverance to glorify and praise YOU. We magnify YOUR Holy name for YOU are good. If there has been any question in our minds — any doubt — as to who YOU are and to whom we belong, YOU have made it abundantly clear, this day! YOU, LORD are GOD! We are YOURS! For it is YOU who made us! Hallelujah! We made not ourselves! We are YOUR people, yes, even the sheep of YOUR pasture. What an honor and privilege to be called one of YOUR own. YOU humble us, LORD. YOU cause us to kneel before YOU and confess YOU as our LORD and SAVIOR! JESUS, we are moved by YOUR faithful love and compassion for us. YOU claim us as YOUR own. I believe when we truly understand this concept, we will no longer be tempted to feel abandoned, ashamed, distressed, or discouraged. For YOU, HOLY SPIRIT, reveal this gentle love of the FATHER, this yearning to be close to YOU, this desire to please YOU. YOUR heart consumes us. Blessed be YOUR Holy Name! YOUR love endures forever!

We thank YOU and we praise YOU, even in the matchless name of JESUS the CHRIST we pray, Amen.

Today’s Prayer ~ Hebrews 5:7-10

Posted by Deborah on November 16, 2009

While he lived on earth, anticipating death, Jesus cried out in pain and wept in sorrow as he offered up priestly prayers to God. Because he honored God, God answered him. Though he was God’s Son, he learned trusting-obedience by what he suffered, just as we do. Then, having arrived at the full stature of his maturity and having been announced by God as high priest in the order of Melchizedek, he became the source of eternal salvation to all who believingly obey himHebrews 5:7-10 (The Message)

Dear Friends:

I first want to share with you that as of Friday, November 13, 2009, I registered 100 posts on this site! Praise GOD!! Only HE could have made this possible. Thank YOU, FATHER! Thank YOU, JESUS! Thank YOU HOLY SPIRIT!

As an extension to Saturday’s scripture, I wanted to share with you the rest of this message which says that not only were JESUS’ prayers heard because of his reverent submission, but that HE also learned “trusting-obedience by what he suffered. . . having arrived at the full stature of his maturity and having been announced by God as high priest in the order of Melchizedek.” Obedience, maturity, honor. . . hmmm, very interesting, wouldn’t you say. I really like the translation of this version.

Last week was full of intense preparation for our Fall Prayer Walk on November 14. As you well know, we were blessed beyond measure. I fasted three full days. Praise GOD for sustaining me! We unified very nicely, and we all share this one incredible testimony, and that is the clouds opened up during the entire time of our walk and did not gather again until after we closed in prayer. Literally, the moment the last syllable was spoken in our closing prayer was when we felt mist. Hallelujah!

Here are a couple of pictures from the Fall Prayer Walk. Unfortunately, not everyone is represented here, but still nice photos.

Arise! Cry Out! is a ministry that prays for children across the globe in schools. This ministry has groups in 92 countries around the world, and we all came together for 3 hours on Saturday in corporate prayer to pray for our children. What an amazing experience!

Yesterday, Sunday, as our Altar Prayer Team gathered to cover the day’s services, GOD did something none of us expected while in the prayer room — we laughed! We were making all kinds of mistakes finding scriptures, giving wrong scriptures, and reading wrong scriptures. It was hilarious! We just “cracked up” laughing! LOL!!! It was so much fun. We really had a good time yesterday. I recall the scripture in Proverbs 15:13 that says “a joyful heart is good medicine, but a broken spirit dries up the bones.” Laughter, my friends, is very good medicine!

Finally, after we had gotten all the laughter out of our system, one of our brothers shared that he and his family decided to build strong at home, first. I didn’t realize it at the time, but that was a message for me. Lately, I have been resting and spending some quiet time with GOD, but this week I will be spending some special time with my family, getting things in order and preparing for the holidays. We serve a GOD of order, not confusion. Amen!

Thank you for sharing in this 100-day journey with me. There is much more to come! I encourage you to meditate on the Word this week and pray, pray, pray! Not just silently in your heart, but pray and petition with loud cries and tears! Don’t despise your hardships. The bible says count it all joy, my brothers, whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith develops perseverance and perseverance must finish its work so we may be mature and complete lacking in nothing.  James 1:2-4   JESUS learned trusting-obedience by what HE suffered. When HE reached the full stature of maturity, GOD announced HIM as our High Priest in the order of Melchizedek! What do we get when we persevere? Consider this:

Blessed is the man who perseveres under trial, because when he has stood the test, he will receive the crown of life that God has promised to those who love him.  James 1:12 (NIV)

Isn’t that lovely. . . Let’s pray.

FATHER GOD, we just honor and adore YOU for being so multifaceted! Our all in all! LORD, I have learned that YOU are hilarious! I’m happy to have come to know YOU so intimately. I pray that YOUR sons and daughters will come to know YOU even more intimately. Infuse us with YOUR joy and humor, HOLY SPIRIT! Give us YOUR peace, JESUS! Love us beyond measure, DADDY! May we see YOU in a light we’ve never known and just sit back and “crack up” at how awesome YOU are. YOUR laughter is good medicine!

We thank YOU for this day. I pray for covering and protection for us throughout this week! May no weapon formed against us prosper! Thank YOU for forgiving us and cleansing us of all unrighteousness. May YOUR joy be our strength!

I thank YOU and I praise YOU, even in the matchless name of JESUS the CHRIST I pray, Amen.

Today’s Prayer ~ 1 Chronicles 5:20 and Hebrews 5:7

Posted by Deborah on November 14, 2009

They were helped in fighting them, and God handed the Hagrites and all their allies over to them, because they cried out to him during the battle. He answered their prayers, because they trusted in him.  1 Chronicles 5:20 (NIV)

During the days of Jesus’ life on earth, he offered up prayers and petitions with loud cries and tears to the one who could save him from death, and he was heard because of his reverent submission.  Hebrews 5:7 (NIV)

HOLY and LOVING FATHER,

YOU indeed are amazing, and I dare to say, so much more! We bless and thank YOU for this time of fasting. We thank YOU for forgiving our sins and cleansing us of all unrighteousness. LORD, YOU show up and show out when we cry out to YOU in prayer. I share two scriptures with YOUR saints tonight because I want us to see that YOU are the same yesterday, today, and forevermore. YOU ordained our Fall Prayer Walk today and blessed it, just as YOU promised. Thank YOU. YOU ordained the Arise! Cry Out! ministry to consecrate this same day to pray corporately for our children in schools across the globe, and YOU blessed it, just as YOU promised. Thank YOU. Thank YOU for YOUR promise blessings, LORD. YOU are faithful, no matter what! When the Israelites cried out during battle, YOU answered their prayers and gave them victory over their enemies and their allies because they trusted YOU. JESUS, YOU offered up prayers and petitions to the FATHER with loud cries and tears because YOU trusted HIM. YOU knew HE was the only ONE who could save YOU from death and YOUR prayers were heard because of YOUR reverent submission. HOLY SPIRIT, I pray that we will not hold back, but offer up prayers and petitions to YOU with loud cries and tears. I pray we trust YOU always, knowing YOU will deliver us from our enemies, our circumstances, and even from death! May our prayers reflect our increased trust in YOU. I thank YOU and pray for those who stood in the gap today for friends, family, community, country, church, schools, the sick and shut-in, the homeless, the abandoned, the bound, the captive, and our children whom the enemy stalks. May YOU continue to reign in our lives and answer our prayers because we trust YOU!

I thank YOU and I praise YOU, even in the matchless name of JESUS the CHRIST I pray, Amen.

Today’s Prayer ~ Job 37:5

Posted by Deborah on November 10, 2009

God’s voice thunders in marvelous ways; he does great things beyond our understanding.  Job 37:5 (NIV)

Dear LORD,

We love the thunder of YOUR voice. YOU are marvelous! YOU do great things beyond our understanding, things we cannot begin to fathom. We are blessed to have YOU as our CREATOR and Friend. Job says YOUR voice thunders in marvelous ways. Those of us whom YOU commune with in nature know well how marvelous YOU are in YOUR creation alone! We marvel at YOUR beauty. YOU spoke and all things came into being. YOU tell the snow to fall on the earth, and it does. YOU tell the rain to be a downpour, and it is! YOU are amazing! I thank YOU for the Word given tonight in Hosea 2:14 saying “Therefore I am now going to allure her; I will lead her into the desert and speak tenderly to her.” As quickly as YOUR voice thunders in marvelous ways, is as quickly as YOU speak with tenderness and intimacy. Wow! May every inhabitant of this earth long to hear YOUR voice, seek YOU, to be still before YOU, and to revel in YOUR amazing ways! LORD, we love YOU. We adore YOU. We long to worship YOU. YOU are our GOD, and there is none other. Thank YOU FATHER! Thank YOU, JESUS! Thank YOU HOLY SPIRIT!
